Recital Info

Please reserve the recital dates on your family calendar! Recital performance is important for many reasons—it pushes us to prepare our very best, develop attention to detail, and helps build our confidence muscles (which we will need for so many other things in life too!).

Nerves are NORMAL and the only way to practice thriving in adrenaline-filled situations is to do it as often as possible! Our recitals are VERY safe spaces to learn, grow, make mistakes and still be supported and encouraged.

Schedule and Tuition Policies

Monthly tuition is based on 30 lessons throughout the school year. With this model, the fee is the same amount each month rather than charged based on the number of lessons in a particular month.

*Please note that there are 32 weeks available in the calendar (with the listed holiday weeks already accounted for), so there is a built-in buffer for sickness and family plans that fall in conflict with your scheduled time. Due to this structure there are no makeups/credits if a lesson is missed, but for students who make it every single week there will be two bonus free lessons!

Please note: If I have to cancel your lesson more than once during the school year, I will find a makeup time or otherwise issue a credit.

Schedule: September 5-June 3 with the exception of the holiday weeks listed below. Please update these in your calendar ASAP!

• Thanksgiving Vacation (Nov. 21-24)

• Christmas Vacation (Dec. 20-Jan 2)

• Winter Break (Feb 19-23)

• Spring Break (Apr. 1-5)

• MusicFest Week (May 13-17)

Monday Students:

• Monday, Nov. 20th accounts for Labor Day

• Monday, Dec. 18th makes up for New Years

• Monday, June 3rd will make up for Memorial Day.

Summer Lessons: June 17 -August 30: I encourage as many lessons as possible for continued progress, and just bill for these on a weekly basis since summer schedules are so varied. I will send out available dates/times on a first come/first served basis prior to the start of each month!

Sickness

With technology readily available, if your student is under the weather (sniffling and coughing) but up to a lesson I would prefer that we meet via Zoom/FaceTime. Thank you for understanding!

Tuition Rates ‘24-’25

Automatic monthly tuition invoices are sent via QuickBooks. I don’t do late fees, so please just make sure to pay promptly!

Tuition Rates:

60 Min Lessons: $265/month

45 Min Lessons: $200/month

30 Min Lessons: $135/month

Summer/Hourly Lesson Rates: $80/60 mins | $60/45 mins | $40/30 mins
